Since 2025 has come to a close, I’ve been able to take some time to reflect on what the year brought — and I can honestly say my heart feels full.
The past year at Milestones at Play brought:
- 278 sessions, which means almost 300 hours of direct hands-on milestone building.
- 40 new families who now feel confident in their child's abilities.
- Endless cheering, clapping, hugs, and singing .
- A collection of newly confident kids and empowered parents.
While these numbers may seem modest at first glance, they represent something much bigger. Each session was a child gaining confidence. Each new client was a family placing their trust in me. Each milestone — whether big or small — was a moment worth celebrating.
My little business was never about doing more for the sake of career growth. It was about doing meaningful work well. It allows me to truly support parents, meet children exactly where they are, and provide care that is thoughtful, individualized, and rooted in connection.
It also allows me to do something incredibly important — to fully show up as a mom to my own child. That balance, between supporting other families and nurturing my own, is something I’m deeply grateful for and proud of!
To every family who welcomed me into your home, trusted me with your child’s development, and shared a piece of your journey with me — thank you. Your trust, openness, and commitment to your child’s growth are what make this work so special.
As we head into a new year, I’m celebrating the progress made, the relationships built, and the many milestones — seen and unseen — that shaped 2025. Here’s to confident kids, supported parents, and continued growth in all the ways that truly matter!
