I have over 10 years of pediatric home health experience helping kids gain independence reach their fullest potential. I have worked with kiddos and families in both Texas and Colorado with a variety of diagnoses, ranging from 0-18 years of age with developmental delay to medically complex orthopedic, neurological, and genetic diagnoses. I am skilled with neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT) handling/facilitation techniques, kinesotaping and strapping techniques specifically for pediatrics, and utilize a variety of tools and hands-on techniques to facilitate optimal posture and sequencing to promote independent gross motor development through play. I am pending completion of TMR-TOTs Level 1 & 2 and DMI level I/A courses and have a commitment to ongoing learning to provide the absolute best for my clients. Throughout my career I have held many roles- lead physical therapist, supervising physical therapist, mentor for new graduates and experienced clinicians, clinical instructor, and clinical manager supervising speech, occupational, and physical therapists.
I love teaching and sharing my expertise and knowledge gained over the years with families, both as a mom and therapist. It is my goal to set every kiddo and family up for success; I am passionate about guiding parents through purposeful play to meet those important gross motor milestones. As a mom and former stay at home mom with a kiddo in therapies, I know raising littles is hard. I am here to help! I created Milestones at Play to be a resource for families, to help each kiddo be their unique self, and to help parents encourage gross motor confidence in their littles with play.
